by compound complex in"writing, at its best, is a lonely life.
organizations for writers palliate the writer's loneliness but i doubt if they improve his writing.
he grows in public stature as he sheds his loneliness and often his work deteriorates.

Bu2 you say the G.B ate only in it for " influence and control" . Well whats the owner of this site here for?
The answer is we all want to influence and control, its how its down...i think my freedom of speach will be controlled here...but its tollarated with boundaries i accept in a way i accept the boundaries of my goverment. The watchtower in my mind took my mind away along with free speach... this site has allowed my voice to be heard..i like that.

Anyway my origional post was not about Skynyrd but about life being here today and gone tomorrow...i like it that way rather than the watchtower way of living for a day that never comes...

B- D - s ....Hughie and Medlockd were awesome in skynyrd.
I had a few beers with Mike Estes and he was typical Skynyrd....very drunk andhe told me Gary was more drunk and when he asked mike to join the band...he was very drunk...mike went with Ed King who wrote freebird..its complicated but credit for Rossington to get Medlockd and Hughie in the band that was as good as the plane crash band...
Mike Estes told me a few stories B.D.S and as you seem a Skynyrd Man.. White Dove was not written by Ricky, it was written by Shorty, Rickys pappa...oh and Ricky sings on that song not Ronnie Van- Zant

B.B ...your post made me laugh...not only did the G.B hold passports, to do so the passports included there signatue signed upholding there support of American constituion...i found that gem on this site with signatures and hypocrites...not sure i am crying or laughing i once belived in them.

Trans talking about D.U.L Allen Collins who survived that plane crash lost his wife and unborn child to tragic circumstances, he then killed his girl friend D.U.I and he ended up paralized in a wheelchair and dead of the injuries 3 years later. Ironic the song was written about Gary Rossington who is the only surviver and doing just as he pleases.

trans ironici irony, Stevie Gaines and his sister Cassie died in that plane crash, and a few years later there mother driving driving to there grave sober ( Oak tree your in my way) diead in a car crash.
My point being we have all seen so much senceless tragity and shorterend lifes so lets smoke, eat at mcdonalds and spend every penny...

thanks for the replys. I asked the question because there was a post about watchtower changes of doctrine ect over recent years. I thought i would send the list to witness friend who still talks to me. I thought that list would be great if it included reasons why the changes in doctrine have been made. Anyway i will forward this post as it is because he shows " Apostates" have good reasons and i think that will impress him.

Ronnie Vancant the lead singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd wrote song for his band guitariest friend Gary Rossington as a warning to take it easy. Ironic Ronnie died in a plane crash along with guitariest Stevie Gaines and backing singer Cassie Gaines all the other members of that origional band Allen Collins are now dead..ie Allen Collins guitariest, Billy Powell drums, Leon Wilkinson Bass..but Gary Rossington still lives.
My point is dont you think the world has gone crazy with dont smoke, dont eat at Mcdonalds, watch your blood pressure ect ect...
